The company continues as a leader and pioneer in providing TV services based on the most advanced IPTV technologies. The new 4K/UHD television services will be available through gigabit connections on optical fiber, by GPON technology.

The 4K/UHD technology offers a four times larger resolution than the Full HD signal. Besides a higher definition, the 4K/UHD signal gives image a significantly improved fidelity of colors, ensuring a much more natural TV experience. The 4K/UHD technology is best appreciated on TVs larger than 50”/126 cm.

iNES GROUP crosses a full migration process of its network of residential subscribers (Internet, Television, Telephony) to GPON, which is the most advanced internet technology of optical fiber. The migration to the new access solution will end in 2016, when all subscribers will benefit the advantages of the new platform: gigabit for Internet and 4K/UHD Television.

• PVR – Personal Video Recording – allows the recording of TV programs on an external memory device (USB stick or Hard-Disk) connected to the USB port on the STB front panel.
• Media player – allows playing audio/video files on the TV screen from an external memory device (USB stick or Hard-Disk) connected to the USB port on the STB front panel.
• Mosaic – a simple way to select a channel by simultaneously displaying 12 channels on the TV screen.

• A new graphic concept and an integrated interface, consistent and user friendly;
• A new concept of the Timeshifting feature (recording of TV programs on our servers), with a more detailed information display;
• A new display of the of the EPG feature (Interactive User Guide);
• A new display of the Settings system – with more information and new settings;

1. The STB’s upgrade will run automatically, it will take only a few minutes and won’t require the user’s intervention. During this process, please do not disconnect the STB from the power source. The TV screen will display the following message „Upgrading. Do not disconnect.”.
2. Should any issue occur and the STB not start following the upgrade, please contact immediatly iNES Support service at 031-6202020, available 24/7, in order to diagnose the problem remote or to schedule an intervention of our technical division to replace the STB.
3. The upgrade applies only on the YUXING 6916A STB’s.
4. This upgrade will be operated by our technical division and will not affect the proper functioning of the iNES IPTV service.
5. In order to upgrade the STB to the new firmware, please restart the STB.

HBO GO is a streaming type service, available on request, providing the opportunity to watch online all movies, series, documentaries and original HBO productions available on the linear channels, directly on computers, laptops, smartphones or tablets.

The HBO GO content is sent to your computer or device using Smooth Streaming technology. This streaming technology adjusts the image quality depending on the internet connection speed.
